At Cross Purpose Church, we understand the unique challenges international students face when studying abroad. Our International Student Aid Program is dedicated to providing practical support, emotional care, and community connection to help students overcome obstacles and flourish in their new environment.

International students navigating homesickness, cultural adjustment, housing difficulties, employment challenges, financial hardship, and occasional discrimination.

To create a welcoming, supportive community where international students feel valued, empowered, and equipped to succeed spiritually, socially, and academically.

Accommodation Assistance: Helping students find safe, affordable, and comfortable housing.

Emotional Support: Providing a caring community to combat loneliness and homesickness.

Cultural Shock Mitigation: Offering orientation sessions and social activities designed to reduce culture shock and help students comfortably adjust to life in Australia.

Promoting Cultural Diversity: Celebrating cultural richness through events and activities that foster mutual respect and belonging.

Employment Support: Offering job search guidance, resume help, and interview prep to improve work opportunities.

Financial Aid & Emergency Relief: Assisting students facing financial hardship with essential resources.

Advocacy Against Discrimination: Providing a safe space to address discrimination and ensuring students receive support.

Because every student deserves to feel supported, safe, and connected, we strive to embody Christ’s love through practical help and heartfelt community. Our program is an extension of Cross Purpose Church’s mission to be a refuge and resource for those far from home.
